The Columbus Arts Festival is an annual arts fest put on by the Greater Columbus Arts Council (GCAC). Featuring local and worldwide artists, this is an event you will not want to miss. In addition to artists and other vendors, the festival features AMAZING food that any foodie or non-foodie would enjoy.

There is also live entertainment, fun for the kids, and more at this event. Click here for the 2019 entertainment schedule. And don’t forget since this is held on the Scioto Mile, Bicentennial Park has the fountains that are fun for all ages! The event is usually held the first or second week of June.

Columbus PRIDE!

Sponsored by Stonewall Columbus, Columbus Pride is an annual LGBTQ Festival held in Columbus, Ohio. Started in 1981, it has grown to be the second largest pride event in the Midwest, behind only Chicago. It is estimated that there are close to half a million participants every year.

Largely held all over the city, the main activities take place on the Scioto Mile, Genoa Park, and Goodale Park. The festival runs from Friday – Sunday with the Pride Parade on Saturday. There will be live entertainment all weekend, including a poker run, and Jaeger run 5K, brunch on Sunday, and more!

ComFest (stands for community festival) is a yearly celebration of Columbus’ community organizations, performers, artists, and volunteers. First started in 1972 by several local community organizations, it has grown to attract people from all over the world. According to their website, their “goals are to build community bridges, nurture collaboration through safe, peaceful, sustainable practices, initiate opportunities for community involvement and activism, and promote a more unified, tolerant, and equitable community. “

The event features many local artisans, vendors, foodies, and more. It is definitely one of my favorite events each year to grab some tasty food and some cool local products! To find out more about the celebration that is ComFest, click here.

No matter what you might be up to this month in Columbus, these festivals and celebrations are a great way to experience our city. If you or anyone you know is looking to live here and experience LivingCbus, please reach out and let us know! Have a great month!
